Downtown Waterfront Shuttle – Visitors to Santa Barbara enjoy riding up and down State Street and along the waterfront in zero-emission battery-electric shuttles (pictured above). The fare is only 50 cents per ride, or plan ahead and buy a one-day electric shuttle pass for only one dollar for unlimited rides for one calendar day. These new one-day passes are available for purchase at MTD’s Transit Center at 1020 Chapala Street as well as the MTD Administrative Offices at 550 Olive Street in downtown Santa Barbara. Other locations such as the Visitor Center, museums, and hotels will be announced soon, check MTD’s News & Alerts for the latest.
Regular Bus Service – You can also take any one of MTD’s larger buses all around Santa Barbara. Visit SBMTD.gov for all the schedules and information. You can purchase MTD 10-Ride Bus passes by mail using a form linked from MTD’s Fares & Passes page.

Amtrak Pacific Surfliner Transit Transfer Program – On the day you travel on the Pacific Surfliner train, show your valid Amtrak Pacific Surfliner paper ticket or e-ticket to the driver when you board the connecting bus or shuttle and ride MTD for free! Visit Pacific Surfliner for more info.
